Summer Snaps Competition Terms and Conditions

Introduction

1. By entering the Summer Snaps Competition, you agree to abide by the following official rules and regulations ("Terms and Conditions"). This Competition is organised by GoSee Limited, a company with its principal office at 1 Nelson Street, Auckland City, Auckland 1010, New Zealand, 0800 570 007 ("Organiser"). The promotion is run for GoSee’s motorhome rental brand, Motorhome Republic. 
2. Entry is open to customers who have rented a motorhome through motorhomerepublic.com for travel in Australia or New Zealand and have entered during the promotional period.  
3. The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and/or Instagram channels. GoSee Limited completely releases Facebook and/or Instagram from all liability associated with this Competition.  

Competition Period 

4. Promotion commences at 12am NZST on 10th December 2024 and closes at 11.59pm NZST on 31st  January 2025 (Promotional Period).    

Eligibility 

5. The Competition is open to any customer who is at least 18 years old at the time of entry and has booked through motorhomerepublic.com for travel in New Zealand or Australia.
6. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister, 1st cousin or partner.  
7. By entering, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria. 

How to Enter 

8. You can enter the Summer Snaps Competition in one of two ways: 
   1. Email Submission: Send a photo to globalmarketing@goseetravel.com with the subject line "#RoadTripSeason".  Include a brief description of the photo if desired (optional). 
   2. Social Media Submission: Post a photo on your Instagram or Facebook account with the hashtag #RoadTripSeason and tag Motorhome Republic on Facebook or motorhome__republic on Instagram.  
9. Each entry must comply with the following: 

• Your photo must be original and taken by you. 
• Your photo must not violate any third-party rights, including copyright or trademark. 
• You may submit multiple entries, but each must be a distinct photo. 

Entry Requirements 

10. Entries must not contain offensive, inappropriate, or illegal content. 
11. The photo must be related to the theme of "Road Trip Season," showing travel, adventure, or summer road trip moments.
12. All entries are subject to approval by the Organiser, who reserves the right to reject any entries that violate these rules. 

Voting & Winner Selection 

13. The competition will have two sets of winners (first, second, and third place) drawn from two entry periods, with voting taking place in two rounds. In total, there will be 6 winners, with prizes of $500 cash back for first place, $300 cash back for second place, and $100 cash back for third place in each entry period.

• The first round of entries will be from 10th December 2024 to 8th January 2025. Voting for this round will take place from 10th January to 17th January 2025. On the occasion that no entries are submitted by the 8th of January 2025 then only one round of voting will occur with one set of winners. On the occasion that only one entry is submitted before the 8th of January 2025 then that entry will automatically win first place and second and third place will be forfeited. On the occasion that only two entries are submitted before the 8th of January 2025 then voting will still occur for first and second place, however, 3rd place will be forfieted. 
• The second round of entries will be from 9th January 2025 to 31st January 2025. Voting for this round will take place from 7th February to 14th February 2025. On the occasion that no entries are submitted by the 31st of January 2025 then all prizes will be forfeited. On the occasion that only one entry is submitted before the 31st of January 2025 then that entry will automatically win first place and second and third place will be forfeited. On the occasion that only two entries are submitted before the 31st of January 2025 then voting will still occur for first and second place, however, 3rd place will be forfieted. 

14. For each entry period, the organiser will select the top entries, which will then be open for public voting on our social media accounts
15. The top entries will be selected by the Organiser based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall appeal. 
16. The top selected entries will be featured on Motorhome Republic’s social media platforms where the public will be invited to vote for their favorite photo. 
17. Only one vote per person per day will be counted. 

Prizes 

18. First Prize: $500 cash back or $500 Prezzee Card
19. Second Prize: $300 cash back or $300 Prezzee Card
20. Third Prize: $100 cash back or $100 Prezzee Card
21. Cash back or Prezzee Card prizes will be awarded to the top 3 photos with the most votes at the end of each voting period. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for any other items or cash equivalents. 

Prize Redemption 

22. Winners will be notified by direct message on social media or by email within a week after the voting period ends. 
23. Winners must respond within a week of the notification to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this timeframe, the prize will be forfeited, and no redraw or alternate winners will be selected. 
24. Prizes will be distributed via bank transfer or issuing of electronic Prezzee Card as organised with the winners.  

Publicity 

25. By entering the Competition, you grant the Organiser permission to use your submitted photo, name, and likeness in promotional materials, social media posts, and other marketing efforts without further compensation. You acknowledge that you have the right to grant such permission and that no third-party consent is required. 
26. In addition, by entering the Competition, you also grant GoSee Limited a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works from your photo(s) for any content or promotional materials, including but not limited to social media posts, advertisements, and website content. This usage may continue after the Competition has concluded. 

Privacy 

27. By entering the Competition, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data in accordance with the Organiser’s Privacy Policy. Personal data will be used only for the purposes of this Competition and will not be shared with third parties.  

Disqualification 

28. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant who: 

• Submits fraudulent or plagiarised content. 
• Violates these Terms and Conditions. 
• Attempts to manipulate or tamper with the voting process or the Competition in any way. 

Limitations of Liability 

29. By participating in the Competition, you agree to release and hold harmless GoSee Limited or Motorhome Republic and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners from any and all liability, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with the Competition, the prizes, or the use of the submitted content. 
30. The Organiser is not responsible for any technical issues, errors, or failures in the transmission or receipt of entries, votes, or communications related to the Competition. 
31. Changes to the Competition 
32. The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time for any reason. Any changes will be communicated through Motorhome Republic’s official email and social media accounts.  

Governing Law 

33. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes arising out of or related to the Competition will be resolved exclusively in the courts of New Zealand 

Acceptance of Terms 

34. By entering into the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any decisions made by the Organiser. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not participate in the Competition.
